MCCC PDI Knockout Competition 2020

Winner Joffre Trottman being awarded the winners Trophy

The PDI Knockout is a great informal Club competition that has no pressure and is not linked into the league. It is just a bit of fun and a good opportunity to show off some new work that one may be ponding as potential future submissions. The fact that we are running this competition is a clear sign that we are in the final straight as we start to approach the latter part of our Club year. A good healthy selection of members were prepped and ready in preparation for an evening of personal subjectivity.

I have to say the standard was high and it made marking very difficult with only a few seconds to make a side by side decision on which image gets your vote. It is a knockout and that meant members voted over eighty images down to the last one. I am pleased to announce that Joffre Trottman was the winner and his trophy was presented to him by our Chairman, Mr Ray Hill (CPAGB). A big well done to Joffre who has had a really good season this year with a PDI win in Open Comp 4.
