Through Your Lens 2 - 2020
Through Your Lens was a concept introduced in 2014/5 by our Chairman Ray Hill. It was created to give members a chance in a no-pressure environment to see what their images look like projected on a large screen.
The author is given an opportunity to explained to the meeting any techniques, thoughts or inspiration for their chosen composition that assisted in creating the image. The author then has an opportunity to make a personal decision as to the competition readiness of the image or if it needs any final tweaking in post-processing. Newer members have taken this opportunity to ask questions about the best way of making an improvement with compositional / post-processing techniques.
This week's meeting was well attended with over 65 images submitted covering a multitude of genres. This was the first 'Through Your Lens' evening dedicated to Mono images. This was introduced this year as another way for the Club to build up its portfolio of mono images for external club competitions.
Our thanks go to Ray Hill for running the evening.
