This was our first meeting of the new year following our Christmas break. There was no time to stand around as we were flung into the competitive world of club competition photography in the form of our Open Competition 4.

Janice Barton was making a return trip to the Mid-Cheshire Camera Club with her unique style of judging. It was a packed night of excellent images to view with 22 prints and 51 Projected Digital Images.

Janice provided sound critique, giving advice on; identifying the subject within the frame, tidying up clutter and the edges of an image. She also mentioned using various techniques to reduce distractions from the subject. Janice was very complimentary of the standard of image taking within the club and found it very difficult to narrow down held back images to the final three.
