WELCOME
WELCOME TO MID-CHESHIRE CAMERA CLUB

Founded in 1976, we are a club for photography enthusiasts and those who want to improve their photographic skills. From September to April we meet every Wednesday at St Andrews Methodist Church, Dingle Lane, Winsford CW7 1AA at 7:45 p.m. for 8 p.m.start.
We offer a varied annual Program that covers everything from Camera Basics to Practical Sessions to Competitions. As part of the Lancashire and Cheshire Photographic Union (L&CPU), we regularly view folios of a cross-section of high-quality images that hopefully educate and inspire.
The new Programme (provisional) for the 2022/23 season is now available to view in the programme section.
Please note This page will be updated with any changes to the Programme.
MCCC actively encourages visitors or prospective members to the club, however, a small charge of £2.50 (£3.00 if a ticket is purchased to watch a presentation via Zoom) will be payable on the door to assist MCCC in covering its costs.
MCCC is an excellent place for social interaction with like-minded people who just enjoy their photography. The Wednesday evening meetings are an ideal opportunity to catch up with fellow members picking up tips and tricks in relation to your photographic technique, equipment and if you are lucky, good places to go and take interesting and imaginative photographs.
Do you fancy obtaining your first photography accreditation? Then this is the place to do it with experienced members to assist and inspire you on your journey.

Print & PDI Photographer of the Year League Table

Print 2022 POTY Standings
The league tables indicates to members how well they are doing in this current year. The rankings in the league are denoted by the member who accumulates the most marks from 6 competitions held throughout our season. From the 6 qualifying competitions, members have an opportunity to submit a total of 18 images in both PDIs and Prints. The top 10 highest-scoring images from each section will go towards your league score.
Each member can be identified by their unique membership number. This adds a layer of privacy-protecting the member as the results are openly available on the internet.
Using the table, members are able to identify their progress year on year by being able to review their season average and comparing it with previous seasons. This is a fairer way of ascertaining any improvement or regression.
The highest mark indicates to the member any opportunities to improve on this season. The lowest mark again indicates whether a member has any room to improve on forthcoming competitions.
